Thanks to the generous support of our Founding Donors, Riverflow acquired our beautiful 30-acre property in Monkton last year. Now, we are turning to our vision of the full community: 5 therapeutic homes, a community center, and a therapeutic farm, where Friends can live meaningful, dignified adult lives filled with rich engagement, expansive circles of support, and purposeful, self-directed learning.
In order to realize this dream, we need to raise funds for critical road infrastructure. The land for Riverflow’s four additional homes and future farm is currently inaccessible without a road (see the site plan).
Your support to design and build this road will pave the way to four additional safe and permanent homes for those we serve and to the five acres for Riverflow’s future barn and vegetable gardens. Additionally, this campaign goal includes the development of essential infrastructure, such as driveways, parking, septic, well, and utilities to ensure the homes are accessible and sustainable.
Phase 1 Campaign Goal: $350,000 - Pave the Way to Riverflow’s Future
Over the last year, our first therapeutic home has been a busy hub for friendship, connection, fun, and skill building; a warm, relationship-centered environment where individuals not only receive care, but engage in community. We witness daily what is possible when people are surrounded by love, respect, and consistency.
Now we are ready to grow!
In early 2027, we hope to open the doors to our second therapeutic home, a place designed to provide personalized care in a nurturing and inclusive setting. Riverflow’s second home will give us the ability to support more individuals who need the kind of care we specialize in: long-term, person-centered support for adults with developmental disabilities who need a permanent place to call home.
The total cost to bring this vision to life is $1.45 million. These funds will cover the construction of the home, including accessible living spaces, sensory-friendly areas, and community spaces that foster connection and engagement

Gifts of Appreciated Securities (Stock)
If you gift stocks or bonds that you have owned for at least one year, you will be eligible for a deduction for the full mean market value of the security on the date that Riverflow receives it.
